Boulder View Tavern sits at 123 Lake Harmony Rd, runs noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, and can be reached at (570) 722-9696. Live music runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with casual family fare on the menu. The tavern has been a Poconos tradition since 1984, and the reason it stays busy in August is the sunset seating on the patio, not the tavern wings.
If you want to plan a week, the tavern's own event calendar names the acts. Recent months have listed Erin McClelland playing 6 to 9 p.m., Brian Roder in the same slot, longtime Pocono solo acoustic act Zac Lawless, and Northeastern PA multi-instrumentalist Walter Lee. Rotation is the point. If you go every Friday for a month you will see four different rooms.
